Itinerary

8:00 am – 8:30 am: Meeting in Catania

Meet your guide at your accommodation or the designated meeting point in Catania to kickstart this exciting adventure.

Scenic Drive and Introduction:

Embark on a comfortable 1.5-hour drive towards the volcano area, enjoying picturesque landscapes. Engage in a friendly chat with your guide, who will share insights into the day’s itinerary, safety guidelines, and intriguing facts about Mount Etna and Taormina. Capture stunning views at scenic viewpoints during brief stops.

Easy Hike and Geological Wonders:

Embark on an informative hike (approximately 1 hour) to explore the old, extinct craters at 2000 metres. Admire breathtaking views of the Ionian Coast and delve into the geological history of the area. Pause to discover endemic flora and learn about Etna’s myths, scientific research, and local living.

Taormina Visit:
