8:00 am – 8:30 am: Meeting in Catania

Cable Car and Off-Road Adventure
From the Rifugio Sapienza area, board a cable car and special off-road track (Unimog) to ascend to 2900 metres.

Admire craters from the 2002 eruption and breathtaking views of the Ionian Coast, from Taormina to Syracuse, and the majestic Valle del Bove – a vast natural amphitheatre covering almost the entire eastern flank of the volcano.

- Due to increased volcanic activity, the reached altitude may be limited.
- During peak season, the itinerary may be subject to change, offering the option of using off-road vehicles (Unimogs) instead of the cable car. This alternative route takes you from the less crowded northern side of the volcano, specifically from Piano Provenzana.
- In the event of significant snow, snowcats may replace off-road tracks, with an adjusted trip cost of €155 per person.
